Compassion and Mercy

Compassion and Mercy --do you know the difference? How did these play our in the life of Jesus? How do they play out in yours and mine? 

This week's Gospel tells us about anincredible miracle, so incredible, in fact, that it is the only miracle recorded in allfour Gospels. But the story tells us much more than the feeding of a bunch of hungry folks. Read Mark 6:30  through 44 and see if you can catch it. Even the "fishermen" with Jesus had a hard time catching it – but they all did, eventually. Will you?
