REMINDER: SOUTH RIDING CHURCH HAS MOVED TO NEW WORSHIP SPACE

WELCOME
to our worship this week when we continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus from the dead. Easter is not just a day, it is a 50 day season. During the 50 days we will be hearing about how Jesus makes all things new.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY WE
do what we do in worship? Next Sunday, April 28th, we will have an "Instructed Eucharist." In place of a sermon a "tour guide" will provide a running explanation of the different parts of our worship. My hope is that this will free us all to enter more fully into worship of the God who created us and loves us.
OUR NEXT WOMEN"S MINISTRY LUNCH
will be held on Sunday, April 28th following worship. Please sign up today! All ladies are welcome.
HELP WANTED
We are in need of nursery helpers and ushers. Nursery helpers must be at least 16. Ushers must be 14 or older. Please sign up today to be included in the next schedule of servers.
OPENING AND CLOSING THE CHURCH
While there is much less set up to do than previously, there is still some. We are developing a schedule where teams would perform these tasks for a month, and then have several months off. Please volunteer. It's a far simpler task than before. See Gail Haddock to volunteer.
FAMILY CAMP
Our 4th annual Family Camp will be held June 14 – 16, and the cost is a bit less than last year! Our theme will be "Roamin Roman Holiday." Sign up early! You won't want to miss the fun!!
SAVE YESTERDAY'S TREASURES
for our spot at the SR yard sale on May 4th. Help is needed. Please sign up. Talk to Mike S. if you have items that need picking up.
SRCA'S FIRST EVER VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
will be held the week of June 17-21. The theme will be "Colossal Coaster World." Will you DARE to ride with us as we meet to study, play, and laugh together? The team leaders have met twice. We will need your help!Middle and high school assistants are needed, and a snack person. Please talk to Pastor Becki+ about how you can help.

will be held August 21-23. Youth in grades 6 and up are invited to participate. Please save the date. More details will be available soon.

SRCA NEWS AND NOTES
WELCOME

SOUTH RIDING CHURCH IS MOVING TO NEW WORSHIP SPACE
This Sunday will be our last Sunday at Little River Elementary School. Next Sunday, April 14th, we plan to be in our new home, the PVUMC Multipurpose Center, formerly Grace Fellowship, on Poland Road. Please watch your email and check our website for any updates as to our worship location for April 14th.
SUNDAY
marks the end of a chapter in the life of SRC. We have worshiped at Little River for many years. In our liturgy we will take the time to give thanks and to say good bye, and to pray blessing over this building and it's staff.
