SUNDAY WORSHIP
This coming Sunday we celebrate the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost. Our readings will include 2 Samuel 7:1-14a, Psalm 23, Ephesians 2:11-22, and Mark 6:30-34, 53-56. Join us to connect with God and with each other!

PRAYERS FOR THE PARISH
Meeting Tuesday, 7:15 at the 304. Please come out to pray for our parish! If you haven't been to the 304, please call the church office for directions.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP
We have completed our service at New Hope Shelter. Please plan to be with us next Sunday, July 29th, to hear about the trip! The Lord did amazing things through the team! Never have I seen youth more cooperative or energized to serve in Jesus' name.

THE GHANA MISSION

Please keep Zita Collins, Jason Wheeler, Bruce, Zach, Ronny, the others on the team, and me in your prayers as we finalize our preparations for Ghana. Next Sunday we will be asking some willing volunteers to lead a prayer over us. We leave the evening of Monday the 30th from Dulles Airport. We will be running a reading camp for 60 children. MAny thanks to all who have helped to prepare the materials!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

For the month of August we would like to offer a video lesson for those ages 4-12. We will need a volunteer or two each week to supervise the class. Please volunteer by emailing back with an available date. Regular classes will resume in September.

SUNDAY WORSHIP
This coming Sunday we celebrate the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost. Our readings will include Amos 7:7-15, Psalm 85:8-13, Ephesians 1:3-14, and Mark 6:14-29. REgular corporate worship is one of the hallmarks of the Christian life. If you're in town, I hope to see you this Sunday!

This coming Sunday we celebrate the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost. Our readings will include Ezekiel 2:1-5, Psalm 123, 2 Corinthians 12:2-10, and Mark 6:1-13. I look forward to being back with you all after our week away.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP
Date: July 11-13
Where: New Hope Shelter for the Homeless
open to all youth who have completed grades 5-12. 
Cost is $50 per person. Lodging will be at the Microtel in Hagerstown, MD. Additional funds for lunch on Thursday and friday are also needed ($15-20.00). Checks should be made payable to South Riding Church with Youth Mini-Mission on the subject line.
