SRCA NEWS AND NOTES

Dear Friends in Christ,

We would love to welcome you this Sunday! We are a lively Christina community who is seeking to live out God's call here in South Riding.

SUNDAY WORSHIP
This coming Sunday we celebrate the Second Sunday after Pentecost. Our readings will include 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1 and Mark 3:20-35. This Sunday is also a "W.A.T.S." sunday, a day in which instead of hearing a sermon preached, We Are The Sermon. We will be the sermon by demonstrating our love for the children in Ghana by preparing string bags for them. The bags, once completed, will hold the books they receive as a part of the reading camp Pastor Becki, Zita, Jason, Zach, and others, are going to lead this summer.

WOMEN'S TEA
This Sunday, June 10th at 12:30 all the women of the parish are invited to Eggspectations for a women's tea/lunch. Please let Maryann Branch know if you plan to attend.

YOUTH GROUP FUN: HERSHEY PARK ON JUNE 15
We need a firm head count for tickets by Sunday, June 10th, along with payment of $35.00 per ticket.  Please talk with Meghan to be included, and give your payment to her.

Warrior. Liar. Hero. Murderer. King." New adult small groups and activities for youth and children will be ready for participants to enjoy! We want every family who wants to come to be included. Do not let finances stand in your way. Just let Pastor Becki know you want to come, and arrangements can be made!
